About the role
Join TikTok Shop’s fast‑growing US commerce team and help shape the future of shopping by bringing health‑focused brands onto the platform. As a Business Development Manager you will own the end‑to‑end acquisition of enterprise partners and drive revenue growth for the health category.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with category leadership to identify and prioritize high‑potential health sellers for TikTok Shop.
- Lead the full business development cycle, from prospecting to contract signing.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects based on size, readiness, and ability to execute content commerce.
- Develop compelling pitch materials and processes tailored to target brands.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline onboarding, integration, and ongoing seller support.
- Create reporting and analysis to monitor seller onboarding performance and optimize processes.
- Coordinate internal resources to accelerate seller acquisition and achieve growth targets.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in business development, vendor acquisition, or sales for a retailer, marketplace, or e‑commerce platform.
- Experience working with consumable or health‑related brands.
- Proven ability to engage and influence executive leadership in B2B settings.
- Track record of meeting monthly and quarterly OKRs and improving scalable processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Quick learner, proactive, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration abilities.
