About the role
Join TikTok Shop’s fast‑growing US commerce team and help shape the future of shopping through content‑driven commerce. As a Business Development Manager focused on beauty, you will expand TikTok’s marketplace by onboarding high‑potential brands and driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with category leadership to identify and prioritize top‑potential beauty sellers for TikTok Shop.
- Lead the end‑to‑end business development process, from prospecting to contract signing.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects based on size, platform readiness, creator collaboration potential, and growth opportunity.
- Craft compelling pitch materials that align with TikTok’s category strategy and brand objectives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline onboarding, integration, and ongoing seller support.
- Develop reporting and analytics to monitor seller onboarding performance and optimize processes.
- Coordinate internal resources to accelerate seller acquisition and achieve quarterly OKRs.
Required profile
- 3+ years of business development, vendor acquisition, or sales experience in retail, marketplace, or e‑commerce environments.
- Experience working with consumable or beauty brands, or equivalent seller acquisition experience.
- Proven ability to engage and influence executive leadership in B2B negotiations.
- Track record of managing scalable processes to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
- Quick learner, proactive, resilient, and comfortable thriving in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
