About the role

Join Vestiaire Collective’s VIP Consignment team in the United States, where you will provide a white‑glove selling service to high‑net‑worth fashion enthusiasts. You will be responsible for acquiring new VIP clients, managing in‑home appointments, and driving the growth of the consignment business, particularly in New York City.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, target and acquire new VIP clients to build a valuable portfolio.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing VIP clients to encourage repeat deposits and sales growth.
  • Conduct at‑home wardrobe appointments, curate luxury items and advise on pricing and selling strategies.
  • Spend the majority of time (over 70%) in the field, securing consigned items through personalized visits.
  • Manage client inventory, optimise listings and ensure fast sales with maximum profitability.
  • Network through industry events, referrals and personal connections to attract high‑value clients.
  • Represent Vestiaire Collective at events as a brand ambassador and develop partnership opportunities.
  • Communicate challenges promptly to secure internal support and solutions.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury sales, business development, personal shopping or a client‑facing luxury role.
  • Proven ability to acquire and retain high‑net‑worth clients, with an existing luxury client book.
  • Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and sustainability.
  • Willingness to work a full‑time schedule (approximately 40 hours per week).

Required skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to assess luxury items and determine appropriate pricing.
  • Strong organisational skills for inventory and appointment management.
