About the role
Primark is looking for an in‑store Team Leader to drive an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets. You will lead a group of Sales Associates, coach them on Primark’s ways of working, and help shape a high‑performing retail team.
Key responsibilities
- Motivate and coach Sales Associates to deliver outstanding service and meet sales goals.
- Manage an allocated department section, create inspiring displays, and allocate daily tasks.
- Support store managers with day‑to‑day operations, including cash lane and fitting room oversight.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring swift resolution.
- Maintain stock file accuracy, drive in‑store availability, and control size and option ranges.
- Apply Primark pricing principles, monitor markdowns, and ensure correct point‑of‑sale signage.
Required profile
- Strong people skills with the ability to lead, motivate and build relationships.
- Service‑focused mindset with experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting and take ownership of results.
