About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Vice President and the development team of a national nonprofit in Bethesda, Maryland. The role is temporary and open‑ended, approximately 20 hours per week, with an immediate start date.
Key responsibilities
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, meeting logistics and travel arrangements across multiple time zones.
- Act as the primary liaison between the VP and internal staff, ensuring timely communication and follow‑up.
- Draft, proofread and organize correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Support workflow tracking, task management and cross‑functional coordination.
- Anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues and prepare the VP for meetings and deadlines.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Adjust working hours as needed to support a California‑based executive.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience; experience supporting senior leaders preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Box.
- Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
