About the role
OLAPLEX is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to partner with retailers and internal teams, driving brand performance across all touch points. This hybrid position in New York will focus on maximizing sell‑in and sell‑out while supporting new product launches and channel profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Own day‑to‑day business for assigned accounts, serving as the primary contact for calls, meetings, and ongoing support.
- Develop and execute channel strategies that align brand objectives with retailer goals, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are met.
- Collaborate with Merchants/Category Managers to secure alignment on brand strategy, launch support, and promotional initiatives.
- Plan and negotiate in‑store, digital, and marketing activities, coordinating with product, education, field sales, creative, inventory, and operations teams.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, retail calendars, budgets, and forecasts, and monitor inventory health to minimize excess and obsolescence.
- Lead visual merchandising efforts to ensure brand vision is consistently represented across regions.
