Senior Financial Analyst, North American Customer Fulfillment

About the role

Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders. You will own financial planning cycles, translate operational KPIs into financial impact, and drive cost‑controllership across a complex retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial planning, including forecast modeling, bridging, and senior‑leadership presentations.
• Validate project financials and calculate return‑on‑investment insights.
• Collect, analyze, and report quantitative data to guide defect‑cost reduction and business‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, partner with operations to improve site productivity, and create new performance measures.
• Invent and simplify finance processes to increase efficiency and reduce defect‑related costs.
• Communicate complex finance issues clearly to senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions when necessary.
• Participate in mentoring and development activities within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, planning, and controllership within a large, data‑driven organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity and complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
• Leadership orientation with a willingness to mentor and share diverse perspectives.
