Senior Financial Analyst – Last Mile Operations Finance (US FP&A)

About the role

Amazon Logistics is expanding its last‑mile delivery network and needs a senior finance professional to drive financial insight, controllership, and cost‑reduction initiatives across the US FP&A team. You will partner with operations, technology, and business leaders to deliver data‑driven decisions that keep packages moving quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Identify control risks, evaluate impact, and implement remediation plans.
• Execute weekly and monthly financial close activities, producing forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
• Maintain data integrity across multiple sources, troubleshoot discrepancies, and coordinate resolution.
• Leverage AI and automation tools (machine‑learning models, generative AI, predictive analytics) to streamline analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Lead variance analysis deep‑dives, present findings in business reviews, and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Strong business partnership and influencing skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Sound judgment and ability to prioritize work that maximizes stakeholder impact.
• Experience delivering financial reporting and controllership for large, complex operations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for large data set manipulation and financial modeling.
