Media Associate – Investment Billing

About the role

Critical Mass is seeking a Media Associate focused on investment billing to support its media investment team. You will ensure accurate invoicing, maintain media budget records, and assist with vendor transactions while working in alignment with Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client media budgets, develop billing schedules and audit Media Authorization Forms with vendor invoices.
• Reconcile client billing and vendor invoices in the finance system and manage month‑end documentation.
• Support campaign activation, including buy entry, actualization, and vendor invoice reconciliation.
• Prepare ad‑hoc internal and external reports and contribute to process‑improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance, marketing, media or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, media operations or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills – formulas, lookups, pivot tables, large data sets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with foreign‑currency transactions.
• Experience with Mediaocean, Prisma or comparable media planning/buying tools (a plus).
