Senior Accountant, General Accounting

About the role

Provide accounting expertise and financial support within the General Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet maintenance, and month‑end close.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and enhance control processes, ensuring compliance with SOX and other requirements.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing accounting guidance.
• Create and update Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Mentor junior accountants and promote knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives.
• Support audits, compliance activities, and participate in transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (70‑80%+).
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial close processes, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, able to work independently with a customer‑service mindset.
