Merchandise Manager

About the role

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure operational excellence. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will guide a team of Task Associates and oversee key processes such as shipments, replenishment, omni‑channel fulfillment, price changes, and markdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals for sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni‑channel performance, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top‑line sales growth, and expense control.
• Utilize store forecasts and payroll budgets to create effective schedules and communicate staffing needs.
• Analyze financial and operational reports, store visits, and audit results to make data‑driven decisions.
• Leverage company tools and programs to improve store performance.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
