About the role

Join Ross, a leading off‑price retail chain, as a Retail Associate. You will be the front‑line ambassador who ensures every customer enjoys a friendly, safe, and efficient shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, eye contact, and courteous language throughout the store.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure merchandise is presented according to company standards.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale register, process transactions accurately, and thank customers at checkout.
• Monitor the sales floor for safety hazards, keep egress routes clear, and report or correct unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and provide knowledgeable answers.
• Collaborate with teammates, recognize peers through company programs, and uphold a respectful workplace.

• Strong focus on safety and ability to follow best‑practice procedures.

Required skills

• POS register operation (register‑trained).
