Lead Product Manager – Autonomy Capabilities

About the role

Waabi is a leader in Physical AI, developing autonomous trucks and robotaxis. The company is looking for a Lead Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of the core autonomy stack that powers the Waabi Driver, bridging cutting‑edge AI research with commercial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and execute the autonomy roadmap, aligning core driving capabilities with driverless and commercial milestones for trucking and robotaxi verticals.
• Drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for autonomy features, translating complex use cases into actionable requirements and performance benchmarks.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Research, Simulation, Systems Engineering, Safety and Commercial teams to manage technical trade‑offs and make autonomy performance measurable.
• Analyze performance data from simulation, track and road testing to prioritize issue resolution and monitor system readiness metrics.
• Monitor KPIs such as ODD coverage, system readiness and route viability to make data‑driven decisions that accelerate commercialization.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics or complex AI/ML systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to evaluate performance versus safety trade‑offs.
• Excellent communication skills with experience drafting strategy documents and presenting autonomy concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments and ability to empathize with engineering, safety and commercial teams.
• Adaptability to shift from R&D‑heavy environments to product‑driven commercial execution.
