Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer – Police Officer (Phoenix)

About the role

Join the Federal Reserve Law Enforcement team as a sworn Police Officer protecting one of America’s most vital financial institutions. This position combines frontline security duties with community ambassador responsibilities across five Federal Reserve locations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate bank security and life‑safety systems, including access control, alarm, screening equipment, and video surveillance.
• Conduct security patrols, respond to emergencies, and provide immediate law‑enforcement presence.
• Control entry to restricted areas, operate specialized law‑enforcement equipment, and document incidents with clear reports.
• Enforce federal law‑enforcement authority under Section 11(q) of the Federal Reserve Act and maintain compliance with security procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Age 21 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, clean criminal record, and ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Physical capability to perform essential duties, including lifting 25‑50 lb regularly and passing a color‑vision test.
• Strong judgment, conflict‑resolution, and communication skills in stressful situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PCs, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience operating access‑control, alarm, screening, and video‑surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with law‑enforcement equipment and technology platforms.
