KRI Security Admin I

About the role

The KRI Security Admin I will report to the Facility Security Officer and be cross‑trained across all domains of Industrial Security. The position is temporary and based on‑site in Burlington, supporting classified environments and the university’s Co‑Op program.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce cybersecurity compliance directives (NISPOM, DFARS, DAAPM, JSIG) for classified computing environments.
• Maintain personnel security records for SAP/SAR/SCI programs, process access eligibility, and manage classified material accountability.
• Assist with Collateral DoD Industrial Security Program tasks such as training, self‑inspections, visitor list management, and fingerprinting for clearances.
• Support program meetings, staff briefings, and develop standard operating procedures and program protection plans.

Required profile

• DoD Top Secret clearance.
• COMPTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification.
• Ability to interpret and apply government security regulations.
• Willingness to assist with university faculty and co‑op initiatives.

Required skills

• COMPTIA Security+ certification.
• Knowledge of NISPOM, DFARS, DAAPM, JSIG compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP/SAR/SCI record systems (SIMS, JPAS, DISS).
