About the role
Join American Airlines as an Executive Assistant supporting a Managing Director. You will provide high‑level administrative, clerical and organizational support while enjoying travel benefits and a dynamic work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and manage sensitive documents.
- Prioritize conflicting departmental requests and manage a heavy calendar.
- Plan domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation and itineraries.
- Respond to customer requests and complaints within authority limits.
- Interact with corporate clients and community business leaders.
- Compose correspondence, prepare presentations, reports and ad‑hoc assignments.
- Manage team time‑and‑attendance, expense reports, invoices and supply ordering.
- Screen and prioritize mail, email and telephone calls.
- Organize meetings and events (logistics, budget, agendas, training material, catering, etc.) for the MD and their teams.
- Collaborate closely with the VP Executive Assistant.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Strong emotional intelligence, positive energy and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn new tools and cross‑train with other administrative team members.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Workbrain, Coupa, Concur, Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to create distribution lists and use NRTA tools.
