Android Developer – Mobile Apps (5+ yrs)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our New York team. You will be responsible for building high‑quality native Android applications, integrating complex services, and delivering performant user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement modern Android architectures (MVC, MVP, MVVM) and Jetpack components.
• Integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and payment gateway services.
• Work with Google Maps, Firebase, Crashlytics, and other Google services.
• Ensure app performance through multithreading, concurrency, and efficient data persistence (Room, SQLite, Realms).
• Handle push notifications, security features, and material design UI components.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Jetpack, Room, SQLite, and Firebase.
• Familiarity with payment gateway integration and API consumption.
• Solid understanding of mobile design patterns and Google Material Design.
