About the role

Austin Retina Associates is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join its award‑winning team in Central Austin. This entry‑level position offers comprehensive training for candidates passionate about helping patients preserve their sight.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients during triage, gather medical histories, and perform vision testing and imaging.
• Prepare exam rooms, document clinical notes, and support physicians during treatments and procedures.
• Travel between clinic locations as needed and handle occasional early‑morning or later‑hour shifts.

Required profile

• Dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about patient care.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
