About the role

Join Austin Retina as an Entry-Level Ophthalmic Technician and become part of the "Saving Sight Squad." No prior experience is required; you will receive paid, hands‑on training from day one while working with patients, physicians, and the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Gather patient histories and input medical data into the system.
• Take diagnostic images, perform vision tests, and assist with in‑office treatments.
• Travel daily (paid) to support satellite clinics in Austin and Bastrop.
• Educate and comfort patients throughout their visit.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional with strong communication skills.
• Quick learner, comfortable using computers and medical data systems.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean three‑year record.
• Willingness to travel to day clinics; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
