Vice President of Quality Assurance and Compliance

About the role

The Vice President of Quality Assurance and Compliance is a senior executive who leads Lifeline Connections’ efforts to ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, accreditation readiness, and continuous quality improvement across all behavioral health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on quality improvement, compliance, accreditation, and risk management strategies.
• Develop and implement enterprise‑wide policies for CARF and CCBHC accreditation, incident management, and performance improvement.
• Oversee compliance with Washington Administrative Codes, Revised Code of Washington, Oregon Revised Statutes, and Oregon Administrative Rules.
• Drive a culture of ethical practice, transparency, trauma‑informed care, and person‑centered service delivery.
• Collaborate on strategic planning, value‑based payment models, utilization management, and operational performance metrics.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in quality assurance, compliance, or accreditation within behavioral health or related healthcare settings.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence executive decision‑making.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state regulations governing substance use and mental health services.
• Strong analytical, communication, and change‑management skills.
