Test and Validation Intern

About the role

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products. The Test and Validation Intern will assist in ensuring product quality and reliability through comprehensive testing and validation processes at the Newburgh, IN lab.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in training on lab tools and testing procedures.
• Develop and implement testing frameworks, document results, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in creating test environments, cases, and automated testing systems for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, compatibility, and security testing.
• Report and track defects, collaborate on integration tests and CI pipelines, and generate testing reports.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, multitasking, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with lab tools such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer, NI LabView, NI DAQ, and Digital Multi‑Meters.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ for developing test scripts.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD practices.
