About the role
The Department of Corrections is hiring a Corrections Industry Supervisor to oversee garment repair operations at Menard Correctional Center. The role involves supervising staff, training incarcerated individuals, and ensuring production quality.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff and instruct individuals in custody on proper use of tools, equipment, and materials in the Knit Shop.
- Coordinate production of all garment orders and maintain quality control of repair work.
- Assist the Industry Superintendent in overall operation management and report rule infractions.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Experience supervising staff in a corrections or industrial environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of garment repair tools and equipment.
