Telesales Representative (Remote, U.S. Eastern Time)

About the role

Langford Staffing is recruiting experienced Telesales Representatives for a client running high-volume consumer outreach campaigns. You will contact company-provided leads by phone using an automatic dialer, introduce the campaign, ask qualification questions, handle objections and encourage qualified consumers to speak with a sales representative. You do not close the final sale; your main goal is to generate qualified, accepted live transfers. The position is full-time and remote, with U.S. Eastern Time calling hours.

Key responsibilities

• Make continuous outbound calls through an automatic dialer and gain the caller's attention quickly.
• Ask qualification questions, listen to the consumer and respond to their concerns.
• Handle rejection, distrust, time objections and hesitation, and explain why speaking with the sales representative may be valuable.
• Ask qualified consumers to complete an immediate live transfer and introduce them to the receiving representative.
• Record accurate notes and call dispositions, follow campaign scripts, qualification rules and opt-out requirements, and maintain call quality while working toward performance targets.
• Campaigns may cover health benefits, insurance, telecommunications or other consumer services.

Required profile

• Three or more years of telesales, outbound sales, call-centre sales, appointment setting, lead generation or live-transfer experience.
• Experience meeting call, transfer, appointment, conversion or sales targets.
• Clear and professional spoken English, and the ability to stay calm when consumers are impatient, skeptical or upset.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time calling hours.
• Home setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors (including an external one of at least 22 inches), wired USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, quiet calling environment, wired internet of at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, backup internet and power arrangements, and the ability to use a dialer, CRM and campaign information at once.

Required skills

• Experience with an automatic or predictive dialer; experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools or Readymode is preferred.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication.
• Accurate CRM, call-note and disposition habits, and quick learning from coaching.
