Lead Generation Representative - Outbound Calling

About the role

Royal York Property Management is hiring Lead Generation Representatives to speak with residential property owners about its rental-guarantee program, which costs C$100 per month and covers the owner's rent if a covered tenant defaults. The position is remote, full-time, with U.S. Eastern Time hours and an annual target earning of C$40,000 to C$50,000. You will not close the final sale; your job is to create interest, qualify the opportunity and secure an immediate live transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Contact property owners through a high-volume automatic dialer and gain their attention within the first few seconds.
• Explain the purpose of the call, ask questions about the owner and their rental property, and confirm the number of properties and occupancy status.
• Respond to objections on cost, need, timing, trust or existing tenants, and explain the value of protecting monthly rental income.
• Ask qualified owners to speak with a Royal York sales representative, complete warm and live transfers, and record accurate call notes, outcomes and dispositions.
• Follow campaign scripts, qualification rules and opt-out procedures, and meet hourly and daily lead and transfer targets.

Required profile

• Three or more years of experience in lead generation, outbound calling, appointment setting, telesales, call-centre sales or live transfers.
• Experience working toward lead, call, transfer, appointment, conversion or sales targets.
• Clear and professional spoken English, and the ability to stay calm with skeptical or impatient owners.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
• Remote work setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors including an external one of at least 22 inches, wired USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, quiet workspace, wired internet of at least 100 Mbps download, backup internet and power arrangements.

Required skills

• Experience using an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication.
• Accurate CRM, call-note and disposition habits.
• Ability to receive coaching and apply feedback quickly.
• Preferred: experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools or Readymode.
