Outbound Sales Consultant (Remote)

About the role

Royal York Property Management is hiring Outbound Sales Consultants to speak with residential property owners about its rental-guarantee program, which costs C$100 per month and covers the owner's rent if a covered tenant defaults. The role is remote, full-time and based on U.S. Eastern Time business hours, with annual target earnings of C$40,000 to C$50,000. You will not close the final sale; your job is to create interest, qualify the opportunity and secure an immediate live transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Make continuous outbound calls using an automatic dialer and introduce Royal York and the purpose of the call.
• Ask questions about the owner and their rental property, confirm the number of properties and whether they are occupied or vacant.
• Explain the C$100 monthly cost and potential value, and respond to objections on price, need, timing, trust or tenant history.
• Help owners understand why protection must be in place before a covered default, then ask qualified owners to speak with a sales representative.
• Complete warm and live transfers, record call notes, outcomes and dispositions, and follow scripts, qualification rules and opt-out procedures.
• Meet hourly and daily calling and transfer expectations.

Required profile

• Three or more years of experience in outbound sales, telesales, inside sales, appointment setting, lead generation, call-centre sales or live transfers.
• Experience with an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication skills, and experience meeting call, transfer, appointment, conversion or sales targets.
• Clear, professional spoken English and confidence speaking with property owners all day.
• Ability to stay calm when prospects are skeptical, impatient or upset, and openness to coaching and call monitoring.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Required skills

• CRM, call-note and disposition habits.
• Preferred: experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools or Readymode.
• Remote setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors including an external one of at least 22 inches, wired USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, quiet workspace, wired internet of at least 100 Mbps download, backup internet and power, and ability to work in a dialer, CRM and campaign system at once.
