Technician II, Sterile Production Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician II to join its North Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on sterile production operations, ensuring that pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products are processed in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment.
• Handle raw materials and finished products while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and participate in quality checks and inspections.
• Identify and address deviations promptly, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and GxP regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Willingness to work the 1st shift (Monday‑Friday, 5:15 AM‑1:45 PM CST) onsite in Fort Worth.

Required skills

• Experience operating autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment.
• Aseptic technique proficiency.
• Basic computer skills.
