About the role

Alcon is seeking an Operator I for Production Technical Operations to perform manual and operational tasks on the manufacturing floor, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshooted to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Handle manual or operational tasks according to guidelines to keep processes smooth and efficient.
Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
Monitor output quality, identify faulty products and arrange re‑manufacture or discard.
Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
Review work orders, schedule resources, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English.

Required skills

Operation and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Adherence to Good Practice (GxP) regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Documentation and quality control compliance.
