Technical Sales Engineer - Water Treatment Filtration

About the role

Envirogen is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join its North America team on a remote basis. The role suits an experienced water treatment salesperson or an engineer from the same industry who wants to move into sales. You will build strong customer relationships, understand their technical and business needs and provide tailored filtration solutions, working closely with engineering and customer service teams to grow sales in your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the process filtration market
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales process
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and technical presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or related) or equivalent experience
• Background in wastewater treatment, water treatment or related industrial process industries
• Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Sales experience or strong interest in moving into a technical sales role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel as required to meet clients

Required skills

• Knowledge of biological treatment systems, membrane technologies and chemical treatment processes
• Experience with system design, process calculations and interpreting analytical data
