Technical Sales Engineer – Drive Metal Cutting Solutions

About the role

Seco Tools is looking for a results‑driven Technical Sales Engineer to represent our metal‑cutting solutions across the Salt Lake City region and surrounding territories. You will work closely with end‑users and distributor partners to deliver tailored manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow business with end users and distributor partners, focusing on aerospace, automotive, energy, and other key sectors.
• Travel 50‑60% of the time to engage customers, conduct technical consultations, and support joint sales activities.
• Balance solution selling with territory planning, sales administration, and reporting.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of successful technical, consultative sales experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Strong technical aptitude in metal‑cutting or manufacturing solutions and ability to work independently from a home/virtual office.
• Proactive, self‑directed, and results‑oriented with a solution‑driven mindset.
