Management & Sales Training Program

About the role

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry‑level position designed to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18‑24 months. You will receive an initial 8‑week training followed by hands‑on experience overseeing a million‑dollar business.

Key responsibilities

• Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to provide effective recommendations.
• Complete store administration and maintain compliance with safety, loss‑prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain outstanding store condition, visual merchandising standards, and promotional displays.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Partner with the Store Manager to make outside sales calls and increase market share.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree completed by the start of the program.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally.
• Minimum one year experience in retail, sales, or customer service (preferred).
• Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).

Required skills

• Experience using time‑keeping systems.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
