Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Replit is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead and scale its outbound sales development team. You will build a high‑performing BDR organization that creates a robust pipeline for Account Executives across SMB to Enterprise segments.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing team of Business Development Representatives.
• Develop and implement BDR processes, playbooks, and best practices for cold and warm‑outbound channels.
• Coach and mentor BDRs on qualification methodology, objection handling, and pipeline generation.
• Partner with sales leadership on territory assignments, quotas, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to optimize lead routing and improve lead quality.
• Analyze team performance data and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new SDR/BDR team members as the organization scales.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and scaling BDR teams in high‑growth environments.
• Strong data‑driven approach to performance management and process optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for technology, AI, and the software development lifecycle.
