Technical Project & Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project & Program Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects that drive the development of next‑generation semiconductor equipment. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring alignment with product specifications, cost targets, and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, milestones, and resource plans; conduct viability studies and ensure thorough documentation throughout all phases.
• Manage project execution against cost, schedule, and quality requirements while complying with company policies, ISO standards, safety, and confidentiality rules.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and specialists, assigning work, fostering professional growth, and maintaining high productivity.
• Drive research and development of new technologies, integrating innovative processes and designs into Applied Materials products and services.
• Utilize computing resources to optimize design development timelines and resolve complex operational problems.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects or multiple medium‑sized projects in a technical environment.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, engineering documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership skills with experience guiding homogeneous teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
