CoE NPI Supply Chain Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced NPI Supply Chain Program Manager to lead commodity strategy, supplier selection and cost performance for new product introductions. You will own the integration of CoE technology innovations into NPI programs and drive supply‑chain resiliency across the semiconductor business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies, including market intelligence, multi‑year sourcing roadmaps and dual‑sourcing risk mitigation.
• Lead supplier qualification (RFx, technical/commercial evaluation) and negotiate contracts, pricing, SOWs and total cost of ownership.
• Manage end‑to‑end program planning, critical path tracking, RAID logs and cross‑functional governance to ensure timely product ramp.
• Drive cost‑performance initiatives such as should‑costing, best‑of‑BOM assessments and cost‑reduction roadmaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of strategic sourcing, program management or supply‑chain experience, preferably in semiconductors.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, corporate environment and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost modeling, risk mitigation and supply‑chain resiliency.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot).
• Professional PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Strategic sourcing and commodity management techniques.
• Program and project management methodologies (RAID, milestone tracking).
