About the role

Join Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, as a Business Unit Operations professional. You will partner with product line and division management to drive financial performance, cost reduction and operational excellence for semiconductor and display equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product line or division management on cross‑functional execution of programs to meet and exceed division financial goals.
• Coordinate portfolio prioritization, budget alignment and ensure OPEX spending matches project plans.
• Create and continuously improve business processes, driving COGS reduction to achieve gross‑margin targets.
• Lead division‑level business continuity planning, crisis management and safety compliance, including lab safety practices.
• Support enhanced product lifecycle (ePLC) deliverables and manage lab material management, PFR and FSR execution.

Required profile

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders.
