Supply Chain Technical Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex cross‑functional initiatives that enhance manufacturing readiness, supplier qualification, risk mitigation and supply‑chain resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans from concept through implementation, coordinating engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply‑chain teams.
• Drive supplier qualification and alternate source development to improve business continuity and reduce supply risk.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities and qualification readiness.
• Manage technical risks, create mitigation plans and resolve issues across stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering change implementation and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Facilitate root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action plans with suppliers and internal teams.
• Track program schedules, milestones, dependencies and communicate status to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply‑chain, operations, manufacturing or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, operations or supply‑chain.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier‑quality methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical projects and manage stakeholder expectations.
