Engineer I, Manufacturing Process

About the role

Support the development and manufacturing of medical device products by creating and verifying specifications, maintaining processes, designing fixtures, and testing equipment and raw materials. Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure smooth product transfers to manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Improve, sustain, and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products, including tooling and fixtures.
• Support validation of products, equipment, and processes and manage builds for prototype and pilot production.
• Interface with other departments to resolve production issues and monitor equipment maintenance programs.
• Analyze data to enhance process robustness and repeatability across multiple facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in a related engineering field (ME, BSCHE, EE, IE, PE, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work extended periods in a machine shop environment and handle moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture/tooling design.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of standard machine‑shop equipment and processes.
