Business Excellence Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on exposure to Operational Excellence and Industrial Engineering within a fast‑growing medical technology company. You will support multiple business functions while developing foundational skills in operations, manufacturing excellence, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to aid operational planning and efficiency improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data, applying Lean tools to solve problems.
• Assist in developing process flows, layout improvements, and operational tools such as templates, trackers, and dashboards.
• Support documentation, change management, and sustainability of implemented improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Required profile

• Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience or familiarity with data collection and analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean tools and interest in manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to Power BI or similar data‑visualization tools is a plus.
