Tax Senior – Transferability and Tax Equity Investments

About the role

Deloitte Tax LLP’s Global Investment and Innovation Incentives practice is seeking a senior professional to support clean‑energy developers and investors with tax credit advisory, due‑diligence and financial modeling. The role works across multiple U.S. locations in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Perform due‑diligence for client investments in tax‑equity partnerships and purchase of IRA tax credits.
• Develop tax and financial models for project developers and M&A transactions.
• Research and analyze tax law, draft technical memoranda and persuasive submissions.
• Collaborate with local office teams and other Deloitte practices to address complex technical issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in federal tax, tax credits, incentives or public accounting.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast‑paced, hybrid team environment.

• Federal tax expertise, especially clean‑energy tax credits.
• Tax due‑diligence and tax structuring.
• Financial modeling and tax modeling.
• Technical memorandum preparation.
