Head of Corporate Development

About the role

Replit is looking for its first Head of Corporate Development to build and own the M&A function. You will drive acquisition strategy, source targets, and lead transactions that accelerate Replit’s AI and developer‑tools capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Shape M&A strategy with senior leadership, translating strategic priorities into acquisition themes.
• Identify and source acqui‑hire, tuck‑in and large‑scale opportunities aligned with Replit’s goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, bankers and ecosystem participants.
• Assess strategic fit of targets, conduct valuation, financial modeling and due diligence.
• Lead transaction execution from evaluation through signing, closing and integration planning.

Required profile

• 8+ years in corporate development, venture capital, investment banking or a related strategic role.
• Strong product and technology intuition with experience evaluating AI, developer tools and software infrastructure.
• Proven ability to own complex transaction workstreams and drive cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Financial modeling, valuation and analytical expertise.
• Deal execution experience including negotiation, structuring and due diligence.
