Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant

About the role

Join a fast‑growing residential HVAC company serving the Los Angeles area. The Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for a service business.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable: receive, verify invoices and communicate with clients.
• Handle accounts payable: receive, verify bills and communicate with vendors.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain records in QuickBooks Online and perform general office duties such as filing, scanning and data entry.
• Post bank activity, enter payroll and support other financial tasks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Honest, flexible, dependable, organized and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger concepts.
• Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or home‑service industry software (a plus).
