Bilingual CPA – Senior Bookkeeping & Financial Operator

About the role

Higher Options seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) CPA to lead full‑cycle bookkeeping and financial operations for a dynamic U.S. real‑estate group. The role is remote, offering flexible hours and the chance to influence strategic finance decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities, including brokerage, investment companies, and project‑specific LLCs.
• Maintain GAAP‑compliant accounting, handle job‑cost tracking, intercompany eliminations, and produce consolidated financial statements.
• Manage monthly and year‑end close processes, journal entries, bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Prepare 1099s, ensure W‑9 compliance, and coordinate tax‑filing documentation with external CPA.
• Develop rolling cash‑flow forecasts, support capital‑allocation decisions, and assist in quarterly strategic reviews.
• Oversee personal financial tracking for the CEO, including investment monitoring.

Required profile

• Licensed CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B2–C1 level) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly detail‑oriented, accountable, and able to handle both business and personal financial data discreetly.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Full‑charge bookkeeping and multi‑entity accounting, including intercompany eliminations.
• Job costing and project‑based accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Excel skills.
