Senior Accountant – Capital Projects

About the role

Join Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. in Tulsa as a Senior Accountant focused on capital projects. You will support the Controller's Department by managing project accounting, fixed assets, and capital budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain AFE capital projects in Oracle Fusion PPM and track monthly status.
• Reconcile Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) accounts, record capital accruals, and assist with asset additions and depreciation.
• Prepare and update capital budgets, monitor overruns, and support Operations Business Managers with capital questions.
• Assist with audit materials, troubleshoot system/reporting issues, and serve as backup for Fixed Assets accounting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project, capital, or fixed‑asset accounting.
• Detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Required skills

• Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Fixed Assets.
• Advanced Excel (including Copilot or similar tools).
