About the role
Ernst & Young is seeking a Tax Consultant to join its tax practice. The role focuses on direct corporate tax matters, providing compliance, advisory and litigation support for both domestic and international clients.
Key responsibilities
- Research and interpret complex tax theories and positions.
- Apply tax concepts to meet specific client requirements.
- Handle domestic and international taxation matters, including transfer pricing.
- Assist in tax compliance and advisory engagements.
- Support litigation and regulatory compliance related to corporate laws, SEBI and FEMA regulations.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or Statistics.
- CA, CS or LL.B. qualification for candidates with 0‑1 years post‑qualification experience.
- 1‑3 years of experience in direct corporate tax.
- Experience in domestic/international tax, transfer pricing, litigation, and advisory work.
Required skills
- Knowledge of direct corporate tax regulations.
- Familiarity with SEBI and FEMA regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles.
