Talent Acquisition Specialist – Cannabis Industry

About the role

C3 Industries is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full‑cycle recruiting for retail, cultivation, manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions. The hybrid position in Ann Arbor supports both exempt and non‑exempt hiring across the High Profile Cannabis Shop network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruiting for a high‑volume of hourly and salaried positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, create job ads and develop sourcing strategies.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interview panels and guide candidates through the process.
• Prepare offers, negotiate terms and ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Track metrics such as time‑to‑fill and source effectiveness, and support onboarding activities.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high‑volume environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Knowledge of recruiting KPIs and metrics.
