Systems Engineer

About the role

Health System Services is looking for a Systems Engineer who lives the E.P.I.C. values – Empathy, Passion, Integrity, and Commitment. You will be the primary technical resource for the organization, ensuring that the IT infrastructure, cloud environment, and Microsoft 365 platform run smoothly for both staff and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and email services.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and other IT equipment.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by provisioning and securing technology resources.
• Monitor, document, and maintain IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology assets.
• Coordinate with managed service providers and vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Implement security best practices such as MFA, endpoint protection, encryption, and access controls.
• Partner with HR, Compliance, and Operations to support HIPAA compliance and security initiatives.
• Deliver user training, technical guidance, and documentation.
• Assist with IT planning, budgeting, hardware refreshes, and future technology projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in desktop support, systems administration, or network administration.
• Strong background with Microsoft environments, Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise networking.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
