System Integration Engineer III (E3)

About the role

As a Systems Integration Engineer you will design, integrate, and optimize complex optical, opto‑mechanical and electro‑mechanical subsystems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions, write system specifications, and ensure high‑quality integration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on assembly, integration and functional testing of complex optical, opto‑mechanical and electro‑mechanical subsystems.
• Own and refine system test procedures, calibration routines and diagnostic protocols, maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct system‑level troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis, communicating findings to engineering teams.
• Support design verification and validation, providing feedback on design‑for‑build and design‑for‑test.
• Develop and maintain build documentation, work instructions and test procedures for manufacturing ramp.

Required profile

• BS in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with complex optical, electro‑mechanical or opto‑mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve system‑level hardware issues independently.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics and test procedures.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments, ESD and contamination control practices.

Required skills

• Use of test and measurement equipment such as interferometers, power meters and optical alignment tools.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for test data analysis.

What we offer
