Supply Chain Driver (PRN)

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a Supply Chain Driver on a PRN basis in Tampa, Florida. The driver keeps facilities and clinical environments running smoothly by maintaining tools and equipment, managing delivery records and picking up and delivering supplies such as materials, medications, pharmacy supplies, messages and mail.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and clinical environments to the highest standards with responsible and ethical use of resources
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in proper working order, and maintain equipment and activity logs, including delivery activity, vehicle mileage and dispatch information
• Accurately complete medication inventories and prepare the necessary validation and reports
• Use medication automation, technology and computer systems for medication inventory stock operations
• Pick up, sort and deliver supplies, including materials, medications, pharmacy supplies, messages and mail, ensuring the safety of items delivered
• Accept cross-training responsibilities, treat customers with dignity and courtesy, and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent (required); associate degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience preferred
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, efficient time management, punctuality, detailed and legible records, and strong attention to detail (all required)
