Supplier Engineer – Change Management

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Supplier Engineer to lead change‑management assessment programs for semiconductor products and manufacturing operations. The role blends program management, supplier quality, risk management, and operational excellence across a global supplier network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage supplier assessment plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Lead supplier change‑management assessments, including self‑assessments, document reviews, risk evaluations, and onsite validations.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution.
• Analyze supplier processes, identify risks and gaps, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Track corrective actions through closure and ensure sustainable implementation.
• Prepare assessment reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and program metrics for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, or related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in technical program management, supplier engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
