Summer 2027 Internship - Quality (Greenville, SC)

About the role

Michelin is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Quality at one of its locations in Greenville, South Carolina. The internship sits within Michelin's Summer 2027 internships in Chemical, Mechanical and Material Science and takes place in an industrial plant environment on Monday to Friday during day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure delivered products comply with quality planning models and manufacturing standards.
• Help meet quality and productivity goals using "right the first time" principles.
• Demonstrate the effectiveness of implemented actions and contribute to the quality section of the progress plan.
• Take part in quality planning for products, materials, processes and methods.
• Give feedback on compliance and standards to management and develop guidelines and standards for operators.
• Analyze information and data to draw logical conclusions, recognize causes and consequences, anticipate obstacles and persuade others with reasoned arguments.

Required profile

• Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science.
• Currently enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis; the position is not available for immigration sponsorship.
• Willingness to work in an industrial plant environment, Monday to Friday on day shift.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn other software systems.
