Quality Technician

About the role

TTI Floor Care, Inc. is hiring a Quality Technician for its Wellford, SC location. The role covers basic quality techniques to track, analyze and report on materials, processes and products so they meet the company's quality standards. The position is open to people with internal qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Handle returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaints
• Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
• Develop inspection instructions
• Perform system audits to make sure procedures are followed
• Gather data to support continual improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• 2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience
• No final warnings and no more than 6 attendance points
• Efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months
• Currently in the same role for 6+ months

Required skills

• Knowledge of inspection and analysis techniques
• Familiarity with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000
• Certification such as CQT preferred
